Beyond School

Shakespeare In The Park

As a Front of House Volunteer for Shakespeare in the Park, I assisted with welcoming and guiding audiences to their seats, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience before and during the performance. I helped with managing crowd flow, providing information, and ensuring the comfort and safety of attendees. Additionally, I performed bag checks and contributed to the overall operations of the event, ensuring that everything ran efficiently. This experience allowed me to develop strong communication and customer service skills in a live event setting.

Children's Museum Singapore

I volunteered at the Children's Museum Singapore in August 2025 for the Singapore Night Festival. My role involved setting up the exhibits, guiding the patrons, as well as assisting with the sound systems for performances. Additionally, I was also involved in the creation of the art installations. This experience allowed me to develop strong communication and teamwork skills while contributing to the museum's mission to inspire curiosity and creativity in children.

Start Strong, Stay Strong Programme

As part of my internship in Terra SG, one of the main programmes I did was the The Start Strong, Stay Strong Programme. It aims to educate and empower young children to make healthier and more sustainable food choices.

As a facilitator, I conducted interactive nutrition and sustainability sessions for preschool children from various schools. I guided them in understanding healthier food choices, recognising food-related logos and developing positive eating habits through engaging activities and discussions.

Workshops

As part of my internship at Terra SG, I assisted in the planning and facilitation of sustainability-focused workshops for different audiences.

My responsibilities included preparing materials, supporting activity setup, guiding participants through hands-on activities and ensuring smooth programme execution.
